Maxillofacial surgeon
He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the Medical Academy in Gdańsk in 2008. From 2009, he completed a specialist training in maxillofacial surgery at the University Clinical Center in Gdańsk, which he completed with the National Specialization Examination and obtaining the title of specialist in maxillofacial surgery.
In 2013, he obtained a doctorate in medical sciences on the basis of a dissertation on the use of modern clinical examination techniques for the early detection of cancer and precancerous conditions in the oral cavity. He gained experience and clinical skills in leading domestic and foreign centers of maxillofacial and dental surgery, incl. in Vienna (Allgemeine Krankenhaus Wien), Recklinghausen (Germany), Monterrey (Mexico), Los Angeles (USA). Lecturer at numerous national and international congresses and courses in the field of maxillofacial and dental surgery.
Author and co-author of several dozen publications in specialist national and foreign magazines. He focuses his professional interests towards the surgical treatment of congenital craniofacial defects, including orthognathic surgery, reconstructive surgery of the oral cavity and craniofacial surgery in patients after injuries and oncological surgeries. He also deals with reconstructive and regenerative surgery of the oral cavity, including full-scope dental implantology, also with the use of zygomatic implants.
